    Wild Pacific Salmon

I really like Pacific salmon, but my DH is a bit concerned about radiation potential after Fukushima. I would like to hear the thoughts of other forum members, and I'm thinking AlaskanGuy will have some thoughtful input. DH eats a lot of crappy crap that we know is unhealthy, so I figure I'll take my chances with the salmon.

What is your concern about the radiation?

This article is in accordance with the data we have gathered locally as well.

    Radioactive salmon: fake news.

Don't eat the farmed salmon though, that's bad for everyone.

I'll quit eating Pacific salmon the day I'm pushing up Camassia quamash!
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

Probably has less radiation than the Fiesta red dishes that had uranium in the glaze. Wild salmon has flavor.

Rosa, I'm intrigued. Is this just now an issue for your DH? Not to be snarky, but either you guys eat salmon so rarely that it shouldn't be an issue even if they do have a trace of radiation, or he's really late to the game here and if radiation really IS an issue (and as bae's link points out, it's not) it's probably too late and he's gonna die...

    Thanks for the link, Bae.
    I agree, Kay and Sweetana!
JP: We probably only average 1 - 2 times a month, and DH expresses this concern when I talk about upping our consumption.
