I think the narrative of "Russia hacking our voting machines" is sufficient to serve Russia's interests in destabilizing our democracy. They don't actually have to hack anything, just disrupt and sow distrust.

That’s certainly bad, but it provides no evidence that any votes were affected. Nor, as Mueller said, is it evidence of collusion
Expelling a few more spies is always an excellent idea.
Don’t those fools realize we have plenty of volunteers for that already? Or at least the resources to hire washed out agents to compile bogus dossiers?
Wouldn’t their resources be better utilized coming up with exotic ways to murder dissidents and defectors?
