My friends spent a year in Europe and Ireland in particular made sure that they had enough money to support themselves and that they didn’t qualify for any benefits. The system needs to change so it’s the same here for older immigrants.

Exactly. TT. Most immigrants who come here and start a chain are hardworking and not gaming the system as Rogar notes. The problem is with their freeloading relatives. Trump is correct that migration should be based on merit, not connections.Originally Posted by Teacher Terry
