    Looking for a Post

I am trying to find a links, posts etc. concerning a couple who purchased some land (15 acres?) in Oregon and built a small house on it with some type of orchard. I believe that both persons were College Professors in the San Diego area and in fact one of them started teaching at the Community College in the area. Hopefully, one of you can direct me to site on this forum or other. Thank you.

I’m sorry, that couple does not ring a bell to me.

A search for threads here containing orchard and oregon turned up nothing.

rosarugosa; I don't think so. The couple from what I remember were both professors in CA. One I believe one was tenured at San Diego State. Seems like their disciplines were Sociology and Psychology. What struck me was how they built the house and purchased the land. One paid for the acreage out of his or her funds and the other one paid for the home construction. Also, they both carried a high deductible health insurance plan like $7500. I am more just interested on how they are living their lives in this day and age. Thank you very much for your post. Ed
