I'm working out of the freezer, too--getting ready to restock it, and have to use up what I have stored first.
Other than that, I haven't been particularly frugal lately.

I had success with a frugal hack I had learned on The Frugal Girl's blog. I had an expensive eye shadow that was crumbling. I added a bit of rubbing alcohol, then pressed it down flat with a tissue that also soaked up the excess alcohol. All better and eye shadow was saved.

I fixed a broken strap on my purse with superglue.

Mom kept getting the edges of her winter coat caught in the zipper. Poor design. So she got out the super glue and glued down the edges. Very tidy and does not do anything to change the design of the coat. Now she can get it on and off. She is in love with super glue.

We turned down the temperature on the hot water heater and will see if it is still warm enough.

I used super glue to make some Christmas ornaments for a Western themed tree- just glued ribbon loops on little plastic horses.

--attending a Tea Bazaar at a Church down the street
bought a couple of raffle tickets to support them
and bought 5 New patterns for only $2.00.
One of them is the directions for making a chair/couch cover
and I have a really nice piece of upholstery fabric bought on sale
at Goodwill for $2.50. That would be a grand total of under $3.00
to make a very tired chair look great again!
--made a batch of healthy muffins with oatmeal, banana, nuts, seeds
and just a few choc. chips, honest just a few. Breakfast and snacks
for the last couple of days.
    That is all for now.

I just fixed the zipper pull which fell off of my 15 year old JC Penney wallet that I got using their $10 off coupon. The coupon was good for anything that was over $10; I seem to remember the wallet was on sale for maybe $14. At $4 plus tax that wallet has cost me about 26 cents per year of use then.

I am making my nephew a twin size quilt for Christmas completely out of my stash. No new fabric will be harmed, ahem, purchased, for this quilt!
