    Greetings from California

Good morning. I am a young (30-year old) Hispanic
from Los Angeles. I came to this forum in hopes
of learning how to live frugally and career-advice.

My strengths include math, new age/sci-fiction,
working with nature and music (I play the clarinet).

    My best,
    - Miguel Gonzalez

Welcome! We can use some younger voices here. Many folks are retired or on the cusp of it, with lots of experience to share.

Welcome! So excited you are starting this journey younger than we did (33). Are you still in the LA metro or have you moved away?

Roommates/shared living seems to serve my simple living niece the best. She has her bedroom and all personal items have to fit. Shared spaces not cluttered-holding only what the 3 girls use regularly.

If you manage your clothing, your kitchen, and your hobbies well, you'll be on the fast track of keeping it simple.

Write about your concerns. Share your questions. There is a wealth of experience here!

I love science fiction also. Read the whole foundation series from the robot books through to the end. Watched Star Trek - every episode from 1960s through present day.

Welcome, Miguel! As the other posters mentioned, there's a lot of experience here to be related. You just have to ask the questions. Looking forward to seeing more posts from you...

If you want something to get done, ask a busy person. If you want them to have a nervous breakdown that is.
