    Fiction:

    Sequels
    The Testaments by Margaret Atwood
    The Andromeda Evolution

    From the Indian diaspora:

    Cutting for Stone
    The Hungry Tide
    Sister of My Heart

Also Empire Falls by Richard Russo and an iffy one I may not finish, Atonement.

Yppej: I loved Cutting for Stone, and Richard Russo is one of my favorite authors. I've read all of his stuff and enjoyed it.

Just finished “A Marvelous Life” by Danny Fingeroth; a biography of the late Stan Lee. He made Marvel Comics the phenomenon it remains to this day, and probably influenced my young mind way more than he should have.

It may be a mark of our current creative sterility that characters and plots birthed in the early sixties need to be clumsily mined by Hollywood.

    2020
    The Testament Margaret Attwood
    The Alice Network Kate Quinn

    The Handmaid's Tale--reread

My new favourite Murder Mysteries watched to on Netflix
and now reading anything by Harlan Coben
Started a cozy mystery but, sent back to the library too boring
I hate when I figure out the who and why too early in a book.

Great suggestions from all of you..thank you

I like books about Indians living outside of the subcontinent, as well as Indians in their home country.

Ahh, Atonement. The film was sublime.

I think I read the book after seeing the film.

Still caught up in non-fiction, especially books that will get me off to a good start in my garden design for spring:

Bringing Nature Home: How you can sustain wildlife with native plants. Douglas W. Tallamy
The Future We Choose: Surviving the Climate Crisis. Christiana Figuroes
A Northeast Gardener's Year. Lee Reich
"Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it--every, every minute?" Emily Webb, Our Town

I an reading a wonderful novel, When We Were Vikings by Andrew David MacDonald. If you liked Christopher in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, you are bound to like Zelda, the heroine in this book.
