I definitely appreciate a little bit of info, not a full book report, but what kind of book is it, and do you like it or not. I find it helpful in deciding whether to add a book to my list. Just my two cents' worth.

Finally taking some time to read the Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye (continuing Millennium series). Really enjoying it.

Into the Sun? Off on a Comet! Jules Verne - Finished. The story line was very good, but there were portions that were a bit too detailed on aspects of "space" - i.e. weight, mass, size of planets, etc. Somewhat reminded me of Moby Dick but definitely an easier read.

“All my puny sorrows” by Toews has caught me this week. It’s gonna get at least 4 stars from me.

Just started The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling. Easy read so far; still on character introductions. LOL.

    Thanks, IL!
I just started "Sleepwalker" by Chris Bohjalian. He is one of my favorite contemporary authors, which begs the question of why I am here and not reading my book right now? I also noticed that he has a few older books I've never read, so I'll have to seek those out.

Thanks for telling about this author. I never heard of him. Looks very interesting.

Here is a site that I frequent that tells about the author and other books that they recommend. I like that it also tells series and order of books.

Thanks, Frugal-one. That looks like a good site and I've bookmarked it for future reference.

Just finished The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow. Such a well-written story about a young lady born around the turn of the 20th century and who learns about Doors that lead to to other places and worlds and how she saves them (the doors).
