Got some things out of the house today!

46 pieces of my daughter's clothing which my daughter and I weeded out last weekend went to a family with two girls younger than her.

9 plastic hangers that really didn't work well into the recycling bin.

10 pieces of clothing/pairs of shoes that were too damaged or worn out to give anyone.

    New total for month: 73!

I don’t think you can recycle plastic hangers because you can’t here. If I broke a glass I used to put it in recycling and then found out that they aren’t recyclable.

Thanks for letting me know. I *did* look it up, and it looks like in my neighborhood you can recycle them if they don't have any metal in them - and these didn't. I hope I did the right thing.

You would think recycling would be more uniform but I guess not.

I have gotten to the point where to purge anything is just me nitpicking. I honestly don't have a lot to toss anymore which makes me happy. Today while looking in the cabinet, I decided to toss two round cake pans that hadn't been used in a while because my family prefers sheet cakes in a 9x13 pan. Also purge a meatloaf mold pan because I had two and I typically use the other one. Also tossed a comforter that was ripped that was replaced yesterday as one of my son's birthday gifts.
