What kind of mustard do you prefer?

I really dislike the basic yellow mustard served everywhere. I make some homemade mustard and also have Dijon mustard on hand. I use these on everything that can be enhanced with mustard and have for years.
However, both dear sons-in-law really prefer the plain basic mustard. It usually expires pastits BB date so gets tossed. I just bought another container for $1 so were not talking about a great expense.
It got me wondering about the general preference for mustard.
Yellow or Dijon or ? at your house?

I don't like mustard. I do use a little Dijon in my three bean soup recipe, though.

I love Dijon. It's great for jazzing up things like potato salads and for general purpose.

Because I am a HUGE Ian Richardson fan, I have to attach this classic mustard commercial.

There is nothing like yellow mustard on a burger, none of the fancy mustards compare. Open face burger with good meat (ideally cooked on the grill), on sourdough bread slice, with onions and mustard and nothing else. That's having it my way

But I don't really use yellow mustard otherwise, although the simple ones don't have any weird ingredients, nothing unhealthy about them. Dijon I use more but mostly in recipes, in salad dressing and other recipes. I guess I don't eat mustard otherwise as I rarely eat sandwiches except when I'm at a cafe/deli sometimes. Any of them are good on a grilled cheese though!

I love good mustard; it is my condiment of choice. I once counted 7 types of mustard in our refrigerator, but we have streamlined since then. My current favorite is Raye's Brown Ginger mustard, made in Maine.
Stonewall Kitchen has some good ones, but the prices are crazy and I found I liked Raye's better. My husband could tell you about the time we had to drive to Maine because I needed mustard.
If I was confined to local grocery stores, I would either buy Honeycup mustard (which was my gateway drug to mustard deliciousness), and Trader Joe's also has a good one - I think it's dijon.

My two favorites are Grey Poupon dijon and Goulden's spicy brown.

I like all mustards (especially spicy Chinese), but only on certain things. I'm not a fan of mustard on hamburgers.

If I forget to ask for the Chinese mustard when I do take-out, I get so angry with myself! Egg rolls and spring rolls are nothing without it!!

I regularly buy Chinese-style BBQ pork, which comes packaged with hot mustard and sesame seeds, which I then hoard and use with a sambal oelek/ketchup dipping sauce.

ETA: I checked Amazon, and you can buy Chinese mustard packets--not the environmentally friendliest packaging-wise, but available.
