--taking bus for Dr appt will save gas, parking and frustration of
parking and downtown driving in late afternoon
--Ate several meals last week from Large pot of soup.
--Sold Blouse on Ebay and a bag of quilt fabric on KIJIJI
--Lots to entertain from Library, Netflix etc and You Tube.
--found a lot of interesting weight/ health shows and exercises on You Tube.
--still bringing lunch and snacks for volunteering
--attended a luncheon with volunteers, it only cost $8.00 for dessert and all.
And, got sent home with a portion of chicken and salad so that was supper. Yummy
I am sure there is more but, if I don't write it down I forget a lot of what
we all seem to do is habit and I guess that is a good thing.
--Only $40.00 worth of groceries so far this month.

We had a couple of nice-ish days, too. If not exactly sunny, not exactly dreary and cold either.in the 50’s.

I drove my red car top down out to the county to the movie house there. Took the slow roads, I dont drive it on the interstates.

Hopefully a frugal: DH & I were due for laptop replacements. I found something I liked on sale at Costco. They give you concierge service and will double the mfg's warranty from 1 to 2 years. I got a Costco Citi visa and made the purchase with that, because they will double the warranty again, bringing it to 4 years. I figured it was worth doing for something like a laptop, since the extended warranty didn't cost me anything. I'll use the card for future Costco purchases since they do double points for Costco and we spend quite a bit of money there.

--My Very old DVD player bit the dust last week and my
first thought was I need to buy a new one. Yes, I still do
watch some DVD's bought cheap at sales or from the library.
Then I remembered (and this shows I still have too much stuff)
I have a small probable one bought 8 years ago when Dh was in
    hospital, used maybe 6 times...dud!
Watched the new "Downton Abby" last night sitting like a princess
in bed. Very nice very frugal a no buy!

rosarugosa it is hard to believe I could have forgotI owned this.
My only excuse is that I was thinking of it as something to use in Hospital. dud!
It cost like $80.00 is really not frugal to just have it packed away.
And, Dd said today she would look on line for people with the issue on that
DVD player and see if there was any help. She isn't sure herself what went
wrong with it or how she fixed it...lol...but, the old one is now working. Yeah!
