"Noble" I think means something else, Rob.

I understand that you subscribe to the Humpty Dumpty theory of language, but still...

I saw no nobility on either side of the podium last night by an elected official, though some of the guests certainly were. They deserved better.

I have the most respect for those who refused to attend the speech at all.

It was so odd seeing that little African-American girl and her mom get little if any reaction from the Dems. She got a scholarship to go to a school of her family’s choice (I’m assuming private of some sort). It’s as if they are tainted by association.

And what was with the chicks in white?

Modern day suffragists displaying their victimization to those not woke enough to recognize it otherwise. I believe they did it last year as well.

And you get a car, and you get a car, and you, little Timmy, you get a car!

It was apparently to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment:

I probably wouldn't use the word noble, but it certainly had some entertainment value consistent with T's reality show of self promotion and half truths.

And what did the Iowans say to all of this on Monday? Throw the bastards out. Trump, Biden, Nancy—just toss out the old pols.

I don’t think that’s the answer necessarily, I know that having no experienced leadership brings its own set of awfulness. But—That is what the good people of Iowa were saying to favor mayor Pete. It’s time we get back to simpler times where Congressmen act like gentlemen legislators where they meet for a few months in DC and then go home for the rest of the year. This of course will never happen I know it.
