I will be working as a broker for the guy who runs his own brokerage operation out of his home office. I'll be making what I did at the old company. My health insurance will be covered 100%. I'll be provided with laptop, two monitors, etc. I'll go down to southern IN for training for 3-5 days and come home with my technology.
I start August 1. He pays on the first of the month and I'll get paid a month ahead.

She got her 5 hours of overtime back by going another level up the chain of command, screw the company and the profitsharing for all the other employees. And I was so looking forward to an hour and a half of peace in the morning before her arrival. She was clothes and curtain shopping online most of the other day.

Most of the time when I worked, the time spent getting ready and commuting added up to twelve hours. Four of those hours, day after day, were wasted. Oh, I could read on the bus, make mental lists, etc.--but I always resented that those hours were not my own. So hurrah for you, the time and money you'll save!
