I buy groceries on an interval of about 10 days. Anecdotally, prices in the same store seem higher on almost everything.
1 lb. split green peas $1.29. (I was accustomed to paying $0.99)
1 lb. celery $1.69
1 lb. limes $1.69

I noticed several items that I had ordered in the past from Amazon had previously paid prices blocked from view.
Our groceries are really going up. One restaurant raised their prices a lot. We used to go every week but won’t go back.
I bought a few pork sirloin steaks and 2 pork shoulders for smoking and shredding. Prices were "normal". Mileage obviously varies.
And as prices go up, the interest in savings goes down. It's a double whammy.
