Toilet Paper - are you a scruncher or a folder?

Does anyone remember back on the old boards when someone posted the question about whether you are a scruncher or a folder? Don't remember who the poster was, but it really generated a lot of conversation. Supposedly folders don't use as much TP as scrunchers. In light of the TP shortages, maybe we should revisit this for fun. I learned a lot from the comments and became a folder after that.

It depends (no pun) but I do find myself counting squares now which is a totally ridiculous behavior. So most likely, count and scrunch.

For such a worthy cause as greater efficiency on use of TP , I will admit that I carefully fold after counting as PT does but do not ever scrunch.

Folder. If you tear off a couple squares and then put the next square going the opposite direction the sum total become much stronger. Requiring fewer total squares. Whahahahaha can't believe I just explained that. When you are just sitting there you have time to think these things through!

This is hilarious to see and hear the comments on such an important topic. I can remember my parents being concerned about scrunchers who were clogging the septic system with too much toilet tissue.

Some countries with limited access to TP for centuries have designated the one hand for such duties and never used it for much else. We had a thread on human manure once some time ago and I read the suggested book.
