My dad had moved to a very nice independent/assisted living residence and we loved it. Instead of having a specific seating time they ran it like a restaurant and the food was very good. One of us had dinner (wine and beer too) with him almost every night. We have such fond memories of that time. I loved his apartment with beautiful views of Mt Hood and would live there myself when I get to that point.

You know, if I was suddenly rich I would probably have a cook before I hired gardener in my household.

With this covid pandemic I’ve been working ridiculous hours. My husband hands me food when I get home. It’s awesome to be well fed.

Those look great! My husband is a very good cook, so we figure we will be moving to a place like yours in about 20 years, Lon, and I hope we can find something with food that good!
