    June Purge

Our county hazardous waste folks are starting back their first Saturday of the month drop off tomorrow morning. We cleaned out our garage in March right before the shut-down, so we've have a corner full of old paint cans, etc., that I've had to look at since then. We will be there at opening time of 9:00 to drop off our pile of hazardous waste.

Wow, Beckyliz, that is awesome. I so wish they'd do that here, and I could get rid of paint.

I am running out of things to paint with old paint.

I sold a violin and shipped it off today!

If you pour paint on newspapers and leave it outside it dries out and you can throw it away.

I don't know if they all do it, but Sherwin Williams stores will take old cans of paint. We are considering selling our house later this summer so this month's purge is all the various landscaping supplies in the backyard - bricks, pavers, rocks, mulch etc that is left over from various projects. I am trying to use it "creatively" in various areas just to get rid of it. Today, I am constructing a drain garden beneath a gutter spout which willl use up lots of rocks.

Started cleaning out the old shed that will then be torn down. Filled the garbage can and have a couple things to list for sale. It's a start!!

Yesterday I drove my mom’s 1940’s swimsuit around town, looking for an open vintage clothing store where I could donate it. No luck, they are still closed due to .covid19 regulation. I will try later in the month.

here it is in all of its pert striped glory:

    1 pan splatter protector/cover
2 too small size shirts for my son.
2 cookie jars that I have been trying to sell and I am over the effort.
