Very nice, miteigenenhaenden! I keep saying I need to do that, but haven't yet. Your post is a good reminder - thanks!

I’m definitely not that organized. The best I have done is plan about a week’s worth of meals so that I only have to go to the store once a week. Which is fine for me. I actually enjoy grocery shopping. That and bookstores are about the only shopping I enjoy.

    I hate shopping.

Visiting friends and made them the easy chicken & dumplings last night. Big hit!

We have been (and will continue to be) in the mid to upper 90s all week. Grocery shopped today and instead of picking up frozen pizza, I got a couple of bagels, ham, turkey and cheese. Have homegrown lettuce and tomatoes. So, bagel sandwiches for dinner!

Ham and cheese rollups, garlic salami, green onions.
I haven't been eating much protein lately and I feel it.

We're having a week in the nineties here as well, so DH fried a big platter of chicken cutlets, we made a large pasta salad, and I made a green salad. We've been grazing from those 3 things all week.

Tonight is spaghetti with spicy chicken sausage meatballs. Tomorrow is going to be quiche. Not normally part of our repertoire but due to a miscommunication between SO and I we have two dozen eggs waiting to be eaten…. It’s supposed to be cool enough tomorrow that I can run the oven for that long.
