Yesterday we went to a little gem of a seafood market the next town over that had somehow fallen off my radar. For some reason I didn't think they were there anymore, and never have I been happier to be wrong. Anyhow, no kid in a candy store could be happier than Rosa in the Pine River Fish Market, and DH was pretty enthusiastic too! So last night was a large salad with fresh lobster meat, and tonight was crabmeat rolls and tomorrow night will be pasta with clams. We spent less than $50., so it was a relative bargain for such fine dining.

Homemade mac n cheese. Oatmeal raisin cookies are cooling on the counter--except for what I ate hot with a glass of milk.

Is your mom a vegan, or did she make these special for you since you are a vegetarian?

We bought lots of fresh produce Saturday. Super excited to have fresh Taco Salad for dinner. (Ground beef/turkey mix is in the freezer).

Well it's nice that her cooking is compatible with your diet. I know that doesn't often happen if one is vegetarian or vegan.
