    I did a search to see if there were some recommendations for BLT sandwiches, like whether the tomato goes in the middle or on the top. I generally toast the bread and mayo or veganaise is required. One person suggested piling as much tomato between the bread as possible and eating over the sink, which I could appreciate but haven't done. One variation used a slice of mozzarella. Another suggested a slice of onion. I've been using fake bacon, but there is no good substitute for real bacon. It's what I'm having tonight, but just a basic version.

    Turkey burgers on the grill. Supposedly today is the last day of this insane heatwave so hopefully we can start cooking inside again Saturday.

    Had zucchini to use up so finally made a zucchini burger recipe that I've had for a while. Served on homemade sourdough rolls. Big hit with the family so will definitely make again!
