    Fritillary in the Marigolds

    I think the butterfly that was hanging around the marigolds was a Silver-bordered Fritillary, Boloria selene.

    Awesome! I planted a whole flat of marigolds this year--I interplanted them in all 5 of my veggie gardens. I haven't seen any butterflies yet, but I hope to.
