Only thanks to Jan Brewer, a former REPUBLICAN Governor of whom I have nothing but kind words and respect for as she allowed Medicaid expansion to take place in Arizona, standing up to the GOP and everything they stand for to do so. Had this happened in Dallas, for example, I would have had no choice but to flee to Mexico as human life is not worth access to health care in Texas without insurance. I just got very lucky here. And yes, I am grateful for my.good fortune. Rob

DH is downstairs having a discussion about politics with the young plumber here to fix a clogged sink. The plumber says he is voting for Trump because he fears losing his rights and doesn't want any socialist Democrats running the country. There ya go.

Or, and keeping this discussion in the realm of options for Rob in not paying one dime towards his own healthcare,* he could

    1. Move from Texas to Arizona. Easy Peasy since he often tells us how easy is it is to move to a country that will award him social benefits. Seems like it would be a piece of cake to simply move across a state border.

    2. Marry someone who has a job with family health insurance.

    3. Marry someone who, regardless of employer health insurance, will pay for Rob’s Health insurance and health care

*These options leave out the straightforward plan of Rob paying for Rob’s health care consumption since that seems to be anathema to him.

He's just such a nasty, mean, angry, hateful person! I feel sorry for him.

Regardless of Rob and his health insurance/health care - I've struggle long and hard for medical insurance to the point of having it, but still not being able to afford to go to a doctor. I'm definitely in the National Health Care camp - regardless of what name is assigned to it.

I think Trump is pretty happy in life and self satisfied. I suppose that doesn’t negate “ nasty, mean, angry, hateful” exactly, but I dont perceive him as being unhappy in these negative connotations.

I was just in the process of telling you about my lovely, intelligent cousin's wife who posted a FB meme about the evils of Socialism, and I wanted the exact quote so while looking for it I noticed she had also posted this. It might provide some insight into the mind of the Trumper. I will admit that the biggest challenge Bernie would have had is in drawing the line between "Socialism" and Democratic socialism.

You are right. Remember when trump was asked why he didn't pay his Polish workers overtime..... his comment was "I didn't know they were Polish?" Point taken.
