I used to love listening to Paul Harvey in "The Rest of the Story". This is similar and just short blurbs. I have just heard a few but am enjoying. It is called "The Way I Heard It" by Mike Rowe. He also has a book by the same title.

I love listening to podcasts. I'll have check that one out.
I just finished listening to a 6- or 7-part series from the NYT, "1619," about the Black experience in America since slavery.
I like The Moth, The Overwhelmed Brain, and some Spanish language ones to keep my listening skills up. I used to listen to Oprah's Super Soul Sunday ones, too, but they got a bit repetitive.
KayLR, I am fond of This Week in Virology. Because of the virus, they always have a topic of interest, lots of discussion about new studies and they read and discuss listener questions. Very funny some times, very smart people who like each other and their subject, and interesting info. They have a variety of other topics but this one is so current.
I'm hooked on True Crime Obsessed, two very funny people analyzing documentaries.

This is the best podcast I’ve heard in quite a while. It’s well produced with good pacing, a variety of interviews, good storytelling. It is called Hunting Warhead, about chasing down, through the dark web, child sexual predators and the pornography they trade among themselves. It was a fascinating international effort between Norway, Australia, Canada, the United States.
Some interesting questions were post such as when police have control over the sites promoting child sexual abuse, how long do they let those sites operate under the guise of catching bad guys? Does the site itself promote more crime and how can they justify it if it does promote more crime?

Dredging up this thread to add several podcasts I've been listening to and recommend:
"This Is Love"--short stories (about 45 min) told by regular people. Last night I listened to a woman who as a teen swam with a baby whale for over 4 hours. Tonight I listened to some NASA scientists talking about their involvement in the Mars Rover program. Several were rover "drivers."
The "Love" in the title comes across in different ways. It's not romantic love necessarily. Passion, definitely.
The other one I've been listening to is "Levar Burton Reads." Pretty much tells it all right there. Short stories read by Burton---he's really, really good. Then, when he's finished the story, he talks for a bit about his impression of the story, what he liked about it.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!
