That was such a great episode of a great show!
In the woodlot area on our farm, there was a section with large high trees where the turkeys would fly and rest for the night. Early in the morning they would fly down to begin their day. We found buried nests, then the hatched young and watched the youngsters line up behind their mother and aunts to make the walk behind our shed and across our one field on a regular basis. This pattern continued for a number of years. I had forgotten about that so loved being reminded.
