As for your lamp, that's beautiful. You should start a blog on designer decor hacks!
Thanks! Do check out ebay or Etsy for old linens, they are all over the place.

I won’t have enough hacks to make a website, but I would like to add these two to an existing Facebook page or website so let me know you guys if you run into one. There’s a Facebook page for upscaling furniture but my projects won’t pass muster there, They want painted furniture apparently.

There is a FB group called "Thrift store and garage sale upcycling projects to share" where your projects would be appreciated.

Great, thank you! I will post these projects there.

i wish I had photos of the lace cuffs I cut up before sewing them onto pillowcases because I pieced together the lace after cutting them strategically, and no one would guess this lace was originally cuffs.

I was really on the fence about a cabinet over the sink. That’s interesting that you say you don’t like that. Yeah now I’m going to rethink it because DH talked me into it.My instinct is to keep that space clean no cabinetry.
Pinky toe I should mention to you that I ended up changing my cabinet order with the Amish cabinet makers to get rid of the little cabinets over the sink. I don’t think they’ll get used and it just seems so cluttered.

Meanwhile, I’m having fun shopping for vintage light fixtures on ebay.

The lady of the house does interior design as ? Hobby? For pay? Dont know. She tackled our building’s “ Aunt Agnes style” lobby and made some jazzy changes with a small budget.

That is beautiful, IL! For that price around here you could buy a heated doghouse.
