Several weeks into the new job and I like everything except the commute. It is low key, drama free, and I am learning new things. When it's slow I clean. The boss is working on coming up with new things for me to do.

My boss is a new manager and wasn't trusted to do reviews on his own, so has been waiting for another manager to come in for them. This never happened by the deadline. But my raise was in my paycheck and is larger than last year's. Despite the commute and car issues the transfer has definitely worked out for the better for me.

Good to hear that it has worked out for you.

Good news on the job front is always welcome.
