I have a red phone and a spare. Redundancy and all.

I have been calling around again for anyone starting to do the donation pickups. One place had actually started about a month ago, but now none are doing pickups, at least for this month. My donation pile is growing!

30 quilts! 26 went to a rescue shelter for the women and children. 1 to an Air Force veteran and 3 to an auction fundraiser where funds are used to meet needs both small and large for veterans in our community. A friend of mine is in this all girl biker 'gang'. They do amazing work year round!

Wow, Gardnr! I'm impressed. I would find it difficult to donate quilts! I did just drop off a carload of leftovers at a charity thrift shop from a garage sale we had this past weekend. Yay.

Dishes, extra flatware, books donated last week. More to go this week.

Lots of books going in the paper recycling, alas. The snow storm we had this morning blew snow all the way into the porch and got the boxes of books I had stored there. Sigh. I've been through almost all of them since quit blowing. :-(

Taking a bunch of cloth potty pads to the spca that wants them. I don’t need so many with only 2 dogs.
