    LPR-Silent Reflux

    So another unfortunate update...

Last winter I was diagnosed with LPR-Silent reflux. All those years of extreme overeating took their toll.

The reflux was very painful and really kicking my butt.

I got scoped and they gave me some meds that did not work (they work for GERD, not LPR-silent reflux).

So in April I started a very special low acid, low fat whole foods diet. And this helped tremendously -- it is however very bland and I cannot eat any of my favorite foods. This sucks.

But I have stuck with it because the LPR is so horrible.

I lost about 20 elbeez too.

So it seems I was finally able to use minimalism in my diet. haha

I have gerd. If I eat half as much at meals, donít snack, and drink only water, I have no symptoms.

Thatís a tough plan to follow so I take the meds when needed. But I try to follow the plan ...

Also, itís quite individualized as to which foods/drinks create symptoms in each person.
