I’m not that fond of a lot of stuff Trump does, but there’s no way in hell, I’d vote for Biden.

Even though my husband and I are opposite parties neither of us just votes a straight ticket. We vote for who we think is best. I have voted for 2 Republican governors and he always voted for Reid. He voted for Trump the first time and Biden this time. The last month every time he sees Trump talking stupid he yells at the tv which is something he has never done before. He is not that interested in politics so usually watches something else on election night.

I voted for one Republican, Kim Wyman, our Secretary of State, who has been doing a fine job.

Now I was surprised there were as many votes for Trump as there are. I know we have conservatives here, but I also know most of them aren't too fond of Trump.

A lot of people don't like Trump but are standing up for the party platform. The platform trumps Trump as it were.

The Republican Party no longer exists as the entity I once supported. So I see no reason to support their platform. Some elements of it I find positively hateful.
