I also cannot believe Ted Cruz is taking his side especially since the way Trump attacked his family. I would hope if the situation were reversed that the Democrats wouldn’t try and help a Democratic President steal the election from a elected republican. Shame on the republicans that are going along with this farce.

Recounts and lawsuits are hardly new in US elections. We’ve moved from conspiracy theories about Diebold machines to conspiracy theories about Dominion machines in the space of four years. Somehow democracy survives.

Personally, I think GOP energies would be better spent opposing Biden’s agenda than his election. The best approach in my mind will be to marginalize him in the same way Hillary Clinton was.

How about working with him and others of his party? Compromise--it's a time-honored American tradition. We used to do it all the time.

Recounts and lawsuits are one thing. At least if there is some factual basis in them. Obviously that’s not the case here as the number of ballots that are in question are not sufficient to change the outcome. And there are no facts being presented to show wider fraud.

And the meeting that is supposedly happening today between trump and the top Michigan legislators responsible for certifying the election results is highly questionable. It will be interesting to see if they have the nerve to try and disenfranchise the voters of their state on Monday.

Now that Rudy’s son tested positive today and was at yesterday’s press conference I wonder if Rudy and the other lawyer are going to quarantine for two weeks as is recommended.

I think there’s room for that, outside the sphere of aggressive progressive green new deals and socialist Utopianism painlessly funded by a small tax on monocles and top hats.

There have always been more or less "radical" wings of each party. That, in itself, is not a bad thing, but if legislators can't or won't work with their counterparts, they should be voted out. And the Green New Deal and European-type socialism are far more benign than bans on immigration and full-on abandonment of environmental protection, IMO.
