    Seems the title, itself, only comes via the Catholic Church, but fortunately for humankind, there are greater and more saint-like individuals than those tied to just one religion.

    As for the question, I believe there is the capacity and capability within each individual to do and be all things deemed "saintly" - as with most things, it is a choice.

    Actually, the word, with more varied connotations, originates from pre-Christian Rome.

    I believe in St Anthony. He seems to always help me find what I have lost. Even if it is just my patience with the public.
