That refrigerator is done. Your food is only breeding bacteria and anything needing refrigeration is now dangerous. Surely hope you are not using it.

sweetana3, not to worry, anything perishable is long gone.
I am only using it to store bottled water.

Update - it's a distribution center somewhere, but due to the lack of truck drivers, it won't be delivered for another 4-5 weeks.

Not sure whether to put this here or in the jobs effected by COVID thread. Anyway, it seems the warehouse where I used to work, and child still works, has been cutting hours severely. (Apparently, I left at the right time!) The 2nd shift has lost a significant amount of work, hence hours, apparently because the merchandise has not been coming in. I'm guessing this is due to the whole container back-ups, etc. I started working 2nd shift back in October of last year amid a huge amount of both voluntary and mandatory OT. It's getting interesting there.

It is weird that Amazon is opening 4 new distribution centers in Indiana this year.

I wonder if some of the big box stores and Amazon are stock piling in anticipation of further shortages or disruptions. News says that many of them are chartering their own shipping and unloading to avoid the common gridlock problems.
