Donated some, saved some. Made extra payments on DH's car.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

Like bae, recycling it back to the government.

Thank you to everyone who is sending your Stim money back to the government because that enables them to send me more again. Honestly they don’t seem to really care whether they have money in the coffers to distribute to everyone, they just distribute money with nothing behind it.

I'd love to give an eccentric and colorful answer to this - but the truth is boring and practical. All stimulus money to date saved at Navy Federal Credit Union. This money we hope to keep untouched and always there. Right now strikes me as a good time - even more so than usual - to be saving money. Rob

Since I didn't have an immediate need for the stimulus money, I put both checks in my brokerage account. Now I'm having some work done on my house and I'll use both of those stimulus payments and the newest one to pay for part of it. Or you could say that stimulus money paid my homeowner's insurance and property tax. But all it really did was give me a little extra security. It didn't stimulate the economy because everything I might have spent it on was stuff I was already going to spend money on anyway.

So cool, Gardnr, that much would make a big difference!
