Yes, you can use something like these with either SodaStream or Drinkmate: https://www.amazon.com/sodastream-bu...9&rdc=1&sr=8-5

Personally, if I want those types of flavors I squeeze a piece of lemon into it, but there are a lot of flavors available.

I was thinking of using Kool-Aid powders.

The advertised advantage of Drinkmate is that you can carbonate tea, juices, and other liquids as well as water. I was thinking of doing faux kombucha, carbonating tea with a splash of vinegar.

That's right. I'm thinking of wine spritzers.

I like the carbonation plus lemon is really hard on both real teeth and fake teeth. I drink cherry and lime flavored sparkling water.

Per some dentist on line, carbonation is not a problem, but you can always use a straw.

We like ours (2010, 100K miles). The new ones are getting a little ... "sophisticated" ... so they're not quite the cheap-to-buy-cheap-to-run appliances the older versions are. They're very good sellers, though, which probably is why Yppej was offered a Forte as the trade-up rather than a Soul. I can't see myself buying another car with a trunk unless I win the big lottery, but a Forte is a pretty decent vehicle.

Yppej, good luck with the new wheels!

Jane, not the carbonation but lemons are acidic and bad for your teeth.

Yes, thus the straw. I have a stainless one I use.
