The Star Wars had an enormous impact on society at the time. DH fell asleep watching the movie at the theatre so was never impressed. I thought it was a fun adventure but saw that many people became Trekkies. It was interesting to see the impact on my peers. Was Star Wars one of the leading movies to capture the public interest or were there others?
