    Flying cars! Really?

Thought that this video was somewhat to see so sharing. Wonder how many other versions of a flying car are flying around. Sounds like a 007 movie plot. What kind of a price tag would this vehicle rate!

The AirCar, which can switch from a road vehicle to a plane in less than three minutes, successfully soared from Nitra airport in western Slovakia to Bratislava in 35 minutes.

I've dreamed of it ever since first seeing The Jetsons!
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

"Doc" Jackson, the gentleman who taught both my parents to fly, designed, built, drove and flew a flying car back in 1956 - my birth year. (I was the reason my mother discontinued her aviation training....) I've heard about flying cars my entire life, it seems!

So great to read about a futurist who was so practical and a gifted teacher as well.

I like the idea of a flying car better to visit family and simply to go for a drive as a form of escape. I have rarely needed a normally expected escape option. I just ran then.

I think I would opt for self-driving cars before flying ones. If we get to that point, I would also opt for a roof on my house that would withstand the flying cars dropping from the skies after mechanical failure or aerial fender-benders.

Aerial fender-benders made me laugh. I hope that I get to experience a self-driving car within the 20 years. My Prius V should last until then.

My flying car fantasy is based on an hour that I experienced of flying a small plane with an instructor after several sessions of classroom instruction put on by a local flying school. I was enchanted with the idea of flying but my budget with two teens coming into post-secondary schooling said no. It was one of my special joys over my lifetime.
