Currently, we are still considered fully vaccinated with two shots (right?) so I plan to wait a bit longer as I didn't get the first two until late May. I am older but in very good health and still wear a mask in indoor public spaces. I will once again have to deal with a skeptical DH so not in a hurry to even think about vaccines and boosters.

My skeptical DH was invited, then uninvited, to a card party held indoors when our friends returned to our city for a visit. The host uninvited him when news reached his ears that DH was not vaccinated.

He holds no grudges, has no problem with it as a natural consequence of not being vaccinated.

our out of town friends swung by our house to visit before going on to the card party.

I will get a rooster when I am good and ready to wake up every morning at 5--oh wait, I already do.

We both got our moderna booster yesterday. So far, no bad effects. Our arms are sore and a bit of headache but not the deep tiredness I remember from one of them.

DH has gotten his booster. I still have to get mine, but my workload has made it difficult. I'm going to try for next week.

DS's restaurant has mandated that all their servers get the booster.

Nooo! I stopped using an alarm clock unless I absolutely have to be up at a certain time for a reason!

I wrote earlier about the dangers of Americans hogging vaccine doses for boosters. The chickens have now come home to roost:
