I noticed a few years back that many of the various online dating apps don't have a filter for "Country". Since I live about 5 feet from the border, and since most of the nearest population density is in Vancouver and Victoria, it made the tools sort of hilarious, yet impractical :-)
Not in the dating world, but it is always nice to make similar minded friends.
