I will say upfront that I reserve the right to change my mind about my "dream" house, but right now, this is it:

Wow! That is so cute, and what a price!! That is exactly what I'd love to get as a "guest house" but we really don't have room on our property and I'm sure Zoning would prohibit it. that would be ideal, though.

Talk about small "dream homes"--my son just recently had his camper door replaced because the wind off the lake just blew it right off! He bought it from an old hippie who used to drive it to Phoenix in the winter and live in it for those months. My son loved the fact that it was handmade.

He paid $1500 for it. The carpenter who fixed the door suggested he redo the rest of it because it's really taking a beating. It's made of various woods--some plywoods, and the winters up here have not been kind. The cost to redo it would be another $1500. I'm thinking my son should do it. They told him they could even increase the footprint to give him more room, without sacrificing the character.

Here's the camper. I'm pretty sure I've already posted a picture of it somewhere, sometime.

Haha, in this thread we've gone from the sublime to the ridiculous(ly small).

That is so neat, catherine! Just from the picture, it has so much character!

Happy: That's a great small house, but I don't think I could go quite that small.

    Catherine: I love that camper!

The mobile house is too small for me too, but I like the general idea a lot.
