In all that you related, I'm glad that you have made yourself a family and have a life you enjoy and share with others. My condolences, but also my congratulations.

Closing a chapter can be difficult and good at the same time. Blessings to you.

I really cannot add to what's already been written here, Tradd. Good on you for being true to yourself -- through all of it.

Same here. It is quite an accomplishment to have turned your life into a positive.

A jaunt in nature is always bracing and restorative. And life moves on.

Just got another voice mail from my brother’s wife. This time she’s looking for money to help cover the funeral. You’ve got to be kidding me.

    Wishing you peace, Tradd.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

That’s gutsy considering they are aware of the relationship. My parents paid for theirs in advance and I have also.

I guess that’s not a surprise since you know them. Haven’t they ask you for money for something before not too long ago?

We all need to plan the funeral we can afford. Just like weddings, plan the wedding you can afford. It’s not that difficult.
