    Thinking of some members

Was just thinking of you, Tammy, and hope that you are doing well.

Also missing you, razz, and hope you are enjoying your break.

There are others who have "stepped-away" from the forums, and I just hope everyone is well.

    I still worry about Gardenarian.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

Yes, she was on the MMM Forums for awhile, but I don't see her there anymore now either.

I have missed the SLF members and coming here but the break has been a healthy one. I did pop in to check on everyone a couple of times recently and will continue to do that.
It is quite interesting to discover how appreciated these online friends with their diverse viewpoints and activities really are. Just as in real life, it is finding the healthy boundaries for oneself in time, emotion etc.

Thanks for this thread, Happystuff. I share your thoughts about Gardenarian, KayLR

20 years last April I have been coming here.

My real life friends now, after many years, understand I have online friends, too.

I know what you mean, IL. I joined my first online discussion group/forum in 1997 and I STILL keep in touch with several of those folks. Even met some IRL. We have been through so much with each other - wonderful friends.

I am meeting up for dinner in my town this week with someone who was on this site years ago.

A meme circulating says about online friends “I know your deepest heartaches and joys, but I’ve Never seen your legs.” Haha.

I came close to meeting razz in person but our Lily Society cancelled its meeting up there in Canada in her area due to Covid. It has not been rescheduled for Canada.
