Just watched The Wonder on Netflix. Wow. Loved that movie. Compelling storyline, excellent acting, and the cinematography was just beautiful. Every stage picture was a painting.

I watched The Wonder too and wondered if it is based on real events. Well done with haunting images and mystery throughout but I thought the very quick sex scene out of nowhere seemed out of place.

I think I'll start the final season of The Crown this evening.

Okay----I don't sit-n-watch moo-veees much anymore, but I've been otherwise useless, today. But yeah---I saw the 1968 Steve McQueen film "Bullitt", online, with no commercials. I figure the reason was, everyone but littlebittymee has already seen it, so why bother advertising? Anyway, they wrecked some cars & shot some people and it was very gritty and had a cast of all-time heavies from 60-s & 70's Tee-Vee & moo-veee dramas. Most of them are dead, by now. Yup. Now I've seen it, like everyone else.Hope that helps you some.

LBB: I'm pretty sure I've never seen it either, or if I did, it clearly didn't make much of an impression.

I watched Where the Crawdads Sing the other night, and I thought they did a good job. When I was reading the book, I wanted to see her pictures and sketches and collections, so I enjoyed getting to see those. Every once in awhile, there is some aspect of a book or a story that makes me really want a visual representation, and this was one of those instances. The last time I saw a movie in a theater was when Titanic came out in 1997. I went to see it because I had read so many books about the Titanic, and I was eager to see the big ship come to life on the big screen via modern special effects technology.
