1:45AM tonight.
Almost a new moon, < 1 hour of "dark" a day at this latitude on July 1 today. Now, if I can just get someone to turn off the power to the mainland city that's due south of this spot for about 10 minutes :-)

Busiest weekend of the year at the state park next to my house.
At 1AM though, it seems remarkably uncrowded, and it is an excellent time to go canoeing!
