    Awesome starfish! Were the oysters out? In the Sound I see they are not recommended right now---at least last I looked.
    My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

    Yes, this whole sound is oyster/clam paradise, just around the point is a large oyster farm even. The wild ones by the little island that was a peninsula at low tide here grow to about football sized, but I wouldn't eat one of those, the village's allegedly-clean stormwater bioswale empties out right near them, and, well...

    Even small-scale and close-up, the beach rocks are fascinating and full of life below the tide line!
