    August Purchases

Not a big deal to most people, but one of those little things that just makes me happy. Finally got rid of all the old, stained cloth napkins and bought a brand new pack of 6. LOL.

You'll smile every day that you use the new, fresh napkins. I use fingertip towels for napkins. They are very hard to find, now. Not sure why? They work well, but I do not have much company. Daily, husband and i use a dish towel each...

I am picky about adding any new devices to my small kitchen, but I did just get a small Foreman indoor grill. I've resisted the clutter of an outdoor grill plus charcoal or propane, but now that there is an electrify everything movement, I could be politically correct. I've been roasting garden vegetables and a few other cooking tasks and it should help avoid heating the house up by using the big oven and it cooks fast. Maybe it's just another salad spinner in disguise?

By salad spinner, I take that to mean indispensable tool that greatly improves one's quality of life?

I've rarely met a kitchen gadget I wouldn't try So far, my solid favorites are an Instant Pot and an electric kettle.

I can't warm up to contact grills, but I recently bought a small Nesco electric skillet I can use upstairs, and so far it's working for me.
