Yesterday was our anniversary, and instead of going to a restaurant, we went to the farmers' market and bought lots of good things to eat. For dinner, we had baked haddock, spinach, potatoes, and cookies from the amazing Dutch baker. We still have cookies, a loaf of olive bread, freshly roasted coffee beans and chocolate croissants, so the feast continues.

Oh boy did I ever score a great thing at Goodwill yesterday! I stood in an aisle watching them put out a new product on the shelves, a set of red cookware. I scooped it up immediately. I’ve been wanting it set of new pots and pans but hadn’t really zoned in on what to get, and this set is in great shape and matches my stove perfectly.
I’m not giving up cast-iron skillets though, those are the ones I use most often.
