    RIP David Crosby

He may have had some rough years, but when I was in my 20's CSN+Y were magic. I watched a documentary called Remember My Name from 2019. He had regrets, but made good music and was not a bad person. Who knows what popular music will become classic and what transitory, but I'd like to think his music and musical influence will live on.

Okay---When I first read that, I was a bit surprised. But yeah--he actually made it into his 80's, and lived the life of a celebrated rock star. He got more credit for being talented that he deserved, and he certainly wasn't handsome enough to be admired or envied, either. Plus, he was involved in other stuff I find repugnant. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

I loved CSN&Y. I had their albums and played them all the time. Here is my favorite, and it's such a superb simple living song!! RIP David Crosby, and thank you.

I remember seeing several interviews where some of his cosingers said he was an (tos), and would not work with him again. They performed good together, but couldn't stand one another. When I learned he was once one of the Byrds, I had always hoped to see him and Roger perform together.
My favorite song of his came out I believe after serving time for drugs and trying to get straight, (Southern Cross) or their quickly written school shooting song.

DH and I saw him live in the summer of 2019 at the small local venue we like. He apparently got sick from food poisoning and the show got cut short after a handful of songs. So I guess we were lucky to see him at all while we could, and we did get a full refund on our tickets.

I believe that was a Stephen Stills song, but a good one.
