I agree, frame it and then paint more--I did not know you were a painter, that is fantastic! You should write and illustrate a children's book about your island!

It looks finished to me, and in fact better than the prompt photo.

Notable accomplishment - FINALLY got the pantry straightened out and decently organized!!! Didn't take as long as I thought and I now have a clearer picture of what food stuffs we have and what we need. Still have a little bit of organizing to do, but the bulk is done!

Bravo Happy Stuff. Don't you love when it takes less time than expected. I read somewhere that to keep things tidy do anything (put away in the place) if it will take less than 2 minutes. 2 minutes is a long time if you are returning something to the pantry or cupboard in the right place...so it all stays neat. I've been working on that. My notable accomplishment is clearing my computer desk top so that my paper calendar is always visible...Trying to use the put everything away when finished!!

Congrats on clearing your computer desk, nswef. That is another area I need to tackle soon. LOL

Got a pump for the basement and now have it in a crate, hose hooked up and within reach of the electrical outlet. Is said to be working, but hope I don't EVER have to find out! With our weather lately, though, I feel SO much better with this all set up!

You are wise, Happy. There has been horrendous flooding in my town over the past few days. We've gotten off pretty easily with just some puddles & seepage in our cellar. I'm guessing the flooding has knocked out the heating systems in a lot of homes, and the temps are going to get really cold this week, so I foresee bursting pipes and even greater damage.
