I mostly use candles in our bathroom. Subtle just doesn't cut it, lol.

But I do love the smell of melting beeswax.

And TT, hoping for the best for your canine companions.

Continuing with free leisure time activities. Saturday went to a town hall by a local candidate and Sunday helped a senior with landscaping despite the rain.

Many of my Maltese have ended up with serious health problems. Even Noki who was a very big dog lived to 13. Although I lost one Maltese at 3 and 2 others before 10. They are one of the few dog breeds that don’t bother my asthma or allergies so I am somewhat limited in choice. Thanks for the well wishes for my sweet baby girl everyone).

Sis and I visited a really nice thrift shop that was new to us. I got DH his new favorite shirt for a mere $5.00. I also got a cool bug stamp to use for pottery for $4.00, and those go for a lot more from art supply companies.

I have another frugal. I often give things via our local FB giving page, but I rarely request anything. Yesterday I requested and received the extremely tasteful jigsaw puzzle "101 Pooping Puppies," still sealed in plastic, like new! I plan to include it as a gag gift for my BIL's birthday in September. It retails for about $20, which is more than I like to spend for a laugh.

Have plans for more low cost activities this weekend:

Friday night have been given a free pass to a political fundraiser because I have given the campaign advice.
Saturday going to a lakeside potluck gathering of Libertarians.
Sunday if not too tired from the above and all my errands and chores may go to a free museum and go hiking.

This time of year it is easier to find free things to do.
