iris lilies: Do you know this guy?

A "Suggested for You" Facebook post popped up on my feed this morning. The name of the FB page is "Paul Gellatly" and this picture was posted with the following caption:

It is official! My 50th Daylily Registration has been approved.
The daylily that I won the Lycett Award this year is now named 'Oscar Peterson'. Oscar Peterson is the 4th Daylily in my Canadian Musician Series. Joining Jann Arden, Leonard Cohen, and Michael Bublé. One of these was given to Adrienne Clarkson for her garden last week, and a couple will be given to Oscar's wife, and children for their gardens.

Apparently he is a horticulturist from Ontario. Curious to know if you know if him. This flower certainly is beautiful!
